Established in Australia in 1999 by artist and designer Stiles Be, Materialism.Supply is an independent streetwear label and ongoing art project rooted in design, culture and creative expression.
Influenced by counter culture such as skateboarding, punk, hip hop, heavy metal and edm, the label exists as an extension of the artist’s practice — a way to take ideas beyond the canvas and into something tangible.
The name draws on the philosophy of materialism: the relationship between the physical world and the ideas we bring into it. With a deliberate sense of irony, Materialism is less about the pursuit of possessions and more about materialising ideas — giving form to creative thought through art, clothing and design.
Each collection reflects this approach, with an emphasis on considered graphics, fabric, fit and construction. The focus is on quality garments designed to be worn, lived in and kept, rather than fashion made to follow a passing trend.
Independently driven and hands-on since the beginning, Materialism continues to operate at the intersection of art and streetwear.

Product Fulfilment & Shipping:
MATERIALISM.SUPPLY operates through a combination of made-to-order production and local Australian fulfilment. Our products are sourced, produced and dispatched through different channels depending on the item.
Selected apparel, including headwear, T-shirts, hooded sweatshirts and sweatshirts, is produced on demand through our international production partners. These items are made specifically in response to customer orders, rather than held as traditional warehouse stock. This approach allows us to offer a broader range of garments, designs and options while maintaining a more considered approach to production and inventory.
Other product categories, including accessories, footwear and denim, are stocked and dispatched directly from Australia.
Because our products are fulfilled from different locations, shipping origins and delivery timeframes will vary depending on the items ordered. If your order contains products from both our international production partners and Australian stock, your items may be dispatched separately and arrive in multiple deliveries. This is completely normal and does not mean any part of your order is missing.
We aim to provide clear production and shipping information wherever possible. Please refer to individual product descriptions for specific details regarding fulfilment and estimated delivery timeframes.
